Ashampoo 3D CAD Architecture - You are probably familiar with expensive planning software as used by architects and engineers. These software products usually cost thousands of euros since they have the capability to plan large-scale projects.

Based on the latest software technology, Ashampoo 3D CAD Architecture provides similar capabilities at a fraction of the cost: 3D design, "intelligent" components, perfect 2D/3D plans including cross sections and views, virtual reality image export, precise dimensioning and even calculation of quantities and costs. Sounds incredible? Just read on to learn more about Ashampoo 3D CAD Architecture.

Design family homes, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, or just a simple apartment; interactively, in a realistic 3D world. All views and windows are updated synchronously, regardless of whether you are planning in the 3D-window, a 2D plan or a cross section view.

constructive criticism

Dear Sir or Madam,

I purchased a few days ago your 3D CAD program. As I was leaving the country for Christmas I did not take advantage of your free trail offer. However, I was not concerned as I normal purchase the Ashampoo software I try out. I have been very pleased with the Ashampoo software I have purchased, until now.

I am a retired Chartered Engineer and have limited Drawing Office experience from many years in the past. When I retired in 1993 I did an AutoCAD course at the local technical college. I enjoyed that very much and it opened my interest in CAD draughting. I have been wishing to purchase a good CAD program at a reasonable price since them. When you recommended your 3D CAD program to me, I purchased it immediately.

I would like to make a constructive criticism and hopefully it will make your program more popular and increase your sales. I have been trying out your program and do not find it remotely intuitive. Even using your help pages I cannot undertake the simplest of tasks. How does one draw a straight line to a specific length by entering a numeric value? Also how does one draw a rectangle by entering numeric values? From my limited AutoCAD experience this action is extremely simple in AutoCAD and Google Sketchup also makes this task simple.

I have no need to make detailed drawings of the new Da Vinci Tower in Dubai. Nor do I need to draw up plans of a complex bungalow complete with bending stairs and a complex roof line. What I need is practical help to draw, say, a garden hut, to draw up my kitchen to enable me to undertake a redesign and to give accurate plans to a local builder. This would also extend to modernising my bathroom. These are simple tasks but still requiring accurate plans.

Can I encourage Ashampoo to make help pages covering this simple type of examples? Once I master these simple I may be motivated to move on to Da Vinci plans!

A few video tutorials of basic tasks for new and mature users I believe will be very well received by your customers. Keep it simple and also show how to, say, integrate the bathroom furniture you have within the software. I do not believe this request would take much time or effort for your designers but it would enhance your user’s experience.

Kindest regards, David in cold but sunny Scotland.
